In 2016, after a lifetime dedicated to water activities, Mark decided to share his expertise and love for kayaking by establishing River Medway Canoes. Before this venture, Mark had an impressive background as a Professional Kayaking Instructor and Raft Guide. His achievements include representing Great Britain in multiple World Championships and winning the Junior World Championship in 1999. Mark even completed a groundbreaking first descent of the upper Tamba Kosi river in Nepal.

As time passed, River Medway Canoes evolved into a successful family business, with Mark and his wife Sharon at the helm. The business not only provides canoe rentals but also offers kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and self-drive motor boat rentals along the picturesque River Medway in Kent.
